Monthly Freezer Cooking 7/19

I started my Monthly Freezer Cooking yesterday and I have to say I'm really excited about it.  No more wasted food that you had left in the refrigerator with good intentions on cooking it but ran out of time before it turned bad.

I planned out meals before I went grocery shopping and I stuck to the list!  I price-matched the best sales of the week to get the best deal on meat and produce.

I made most bags of food for multiple meals, since there are only 2 in my family.  We usually take leftovers from the night before for our lunch the next day.

$91.00 = 60 items bagged
=  48 meals for 2 people + 4 sides of carrots + 12 frozen rings of chicken broth + all the cut vegetables ready to add to other meals.

= less than $2.00 a meal of good, healthy, homemade food.

Here are the bags I made:

2 Zucchini - sliced
1 Green Peppers - sliced
3 Green Peppers - chopped
3 Celery - chopped
1 Green Onion - chopped
1 Roasted chicken
3 Roasted chicken - shredded
1 Meatloaf
1 Beef Shoulder Roast
8 Twice Baked Stuffed Potatoes
2 BBQ Chicken w/vegs
2 Hamburger 1.5lbs
3 Taco Meat
2 Meat Sauce for Pasta
4 my Hamburgers
4 my daughter's Hamburgers
1 Roast & Potatoes w/mushrooms
1 Roast & Potatoes
1 French Beef Dip
1 BBQ Ribs
2 Honey Glazed Carrots
12 Chicken Broth - ice rings
